Google has already started previewing the next upgrade of Android OS and planning to do something different current year. Google make everyone surprise with the off-the-cuff publication of Android N Developer Preview on 9 March. The first look usually takes place at Google I/O which is planned on 18th May this year. It comprises new features such as improved customization, superior notifications, split screen mode and many more. If we talk about the name of Android Operating System, we can only speculate on it. Either it’s a dessert or a type of sweet. As per the gossips Android N will be Android Nutella or Android Nougat. Google Opinion Rewards is requesting users about feasible names for Android N.

Apart from establishing number of new features, the first preview also introduced first official wallpaper. Its featuring a sunset sky highlighted in light purple and lavender pitch hues. Android N has an actually cool “N” logo.

• Android N developer preview 1 (alpha) in March
• Developer preview 2 (beta) in April
• Developer preview 3 (beta) in May
• Developer preview 4 (with final APIs and SDK) in June
• Developer preview 5 (near-final build) in July
• Final Android 7.0 AOSP build in August/September

For all the non-Nexus device users have to wait until the official launch of Android 7.0.
